Summiter Free

Ten real landmarks, out of the floors you were already climbing.

Your Garmin has been counting floors for years and doing nothing with the number. Summiter - Free turns it into a climb: ten structures, measured against their real heights, in the order humans built them taller.

Thirty-one floors puts you on the crown of the Statue of Liberty. Forty-five more and you're standing on the Great Pyramid. Then the Space Needle, the Hoover Dam, the Eiffel Tower, the Empire State Building — and 272 floors after you began, the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building on Earth.

That is the whole man-made tier, finished. The mountains live in the full app.

Free means free: no time limit, no countdown, no account, no ads, no GPS, no internet.

THE TEN, AND WHAT EACH ONE COSTS

Statue of Liberty 31 · Great Pyramid 45 · Space Needle 61 · Hoover Dam 73 · Eiffel Tower 108 · Empire State Building 145 · CN Tower 182 · Shanghai Tower 207 · Tokyo Skytree 235 · Burj Khalifa 272 (floors)

One floor is about ten feet of ascent, so nothing here is invented, the Empire State Building really is 145 floors above the street. Each landmark is its own line artwork in its own colour, standing in the terrain it belongs to, with a short description of what you climbed.

NOTHING IS THROTTLED

The free app counts floors exactly the way the paid one does. What you get:

The artwork, drawn for your display's real resolution, colour on AMOLED, daylight-readable on MIP, a purpose-built layout on Instinct Both complications: Summit Progress and Milestone Progress, the second able to drive an arc gauge on watch faces that support one The glance, for checking progress without opening anything Background alerts — top a landmark during a meeting and your watch says so Stair machine mode, converting steps to floors at a ratio you set Both count modes, all five languages, every setting, watch or phone You can browse all 51 landmarks from day one. The 41 you haven't bought are shown for exactly what they are.

AND IT KEEPS COUNTING AFTER THE TENTH

Pass the Burj Khalifa and your total goes on rising. Nothing expires or switches off — the climb just has no further landmark to hand you.

YOUR CLIMB TRANSFERS, THIS IS THE PART THAT MATTERS

The moment you top the Burj Khalifa, Summiter tells you, and shows a transfer code underneath: something like SUM-1842-6KG, your floor count plainly readable in the middle of it. Type it into Transfer Code in the full app's settings and your campaign resumes on the right landmark with your floors intact, not at zero. Used once, then ignored.

It lives in the menu under Your Climb, there whenever you decide.

TWO WAYS TO CLIMB

Cumulative — one continuous ascent, 31 floors to 272.

Reset Per Milestone — each landmark demands its full height on its own, so the free set is 1,359 floors. Switch whenever you like; the ring rescales.

WHAT UPGRADING BUYS

Forty-one more landmarks, all of them natural: El Capitan, Angel Falls, the Grand Canyon, Fuji, the Matterhorn, Mont Blanc, Elbrus, Kilimanjaro, Denali, Aconcagua, Annapurna I, K2 — and Everest, 2,903 floors from where you started.
