Batteries

Add a battery

Scan a pack's label to fill in its capacity, cell count and C rating.

Written for iPhone. Anything that's different on iPad is marked.

Steps

  1. Open Batteries and tap Add battery, the + button.
  2. Tap Scan label, then Take photo. Photograph the pack's label straight on.
  3. Check the values filled in: capacity, cells, C rating, chemistry and brand.
  4. Under Label, give the pack a name you can read at the field, such as Pack 3.
  5. Tap Save.

Good to know

  • For small print, hold the iPhone a little further back and zoom in, so the text stays sharp.
  • Write the same label on the pack with a marker.
  • Put an NFC tag on the pack to open it with a tap. iPhone only
