Flights and logbook

Log a flight

Record how long you flew, what the battery or tank used, and how it went.

Written for iPhone. The steps are the same on iPad.

Steps

  1. On the Flights screen, tap Log flight, the + button. Or tap Stop and log flight on the timer.
  2. Choose the aircraft and battery, and check the date and flight time.
  3. Enter what the charger put back in, in mAh. For glow and gas, enter the fuel it takes to refill the tank.
  4. Type the field name and your notes. Or tap Speak notes and say how it went.
  5. Under To check before the next flight, add anything that needs fixing.
  6. Tap Save.

Good to know

  • With Apple Intelligence, Tidy up notes corrects your notes and fills in empty fields from them.
  • Using less than 80% of a pack's capacity is kinder to LiPo batteries.
  • To delete a flight, open a list of flights and tap Edit.

Words used here

mAh
Milliamp-hours: how much charge a pack holds, or how much the charger put back in.
