Find your way around

Maiden has five sections. Here's what each one is for.

Written for iPhone. Anything that's different on iPad is marked.

Steps

  1. Hangar holds your aircraft. Tap one to see its setup, CG, checklist, photos and flights.
  2. Bench has the setup tools, such as the throw meter, tape measure and CG calculator.
  3. Flights has the flight timer, pre-flight checklists and your logbook.
  4. Batteries keeps each pack's charges, internal resistance and warnings.
  5. Settings has units, voices, iCloud and this help.

Good to know

  • The five sections are the buttons along the bottom of the screen. On iPad: The five sections are across the top of the screen. The sidebar button shows them as a list.
  • Tools that need the iPhone placed a certain way show their guide the first time you open them.
  • Tap How to at the top of a tool to see its guide again. Tap Help on the Hangar screen for every guide.

Words used here

CG
Center of gravity: the point where the model balances. Too far back makes it unstable. Too far forward makes the nose hard to lift.
Internal resistance
How much a cell resists current, in milliohms. It rises as a pack wears out.
